Welcome to Tree Take!
A one-of-its-kind monthly bi-lingual color magazine on environment, Tree Take, which is 'of Nature, for Nature, by us’ is now with us. It is a genuine and positive effort aimed at creating awareness with well-researched articles; engaging common people and making them realize their individual duties to help make possible a clean and green society; highlighting issues and challenges before us with the motive of arriving at positive solutions. It is divided into three sections: Cover Story; Expert Columns and Popular Columns. It is a complete magazine that has something to offer to everyone, from a school going kid, youth, housewife to a scientist. It is not only informative but engrossing.
We hope this magazine acts like a medical practitioner who is able to diagnose what ails the health of a person and then refers the ‘patient’ to the ‘expert’ who provides treatment that ultimately cures. It is not about negative criticism guided by petty politics but transcends the boundaries of politics, states, and even nations—after all, the earth and its environment concern everyone and no part of the country or the world can claim to remain unaffected by adverse impacts meted out to it.
We hope TreeTake gets genuine support from the society in the form of subscriptions. It is the kind of magazine that must be subscribed by every household and should reach every office, school and other institutions, both public and private. It is as invaluable as your morning tea and daily newspaper. Being a monthly glossy magazine, its shelf life is so much longer than a newspaper should you wish to advertise with us or send us articles or letters to the editor. We have the veterinary expert who you can send your query to in case you have a pet; we have a kid’s page where we provide a monthly topic and your kid can also feature on it. There are columns where pet lovers and genuine do-gooders are interviewed.

Forestry project which means sustainable trees like timber, fodder and fruit trees will be given to farmers who will nourish and nurture the trees. Your contribution will cover post-planting maintenance for years and cost of re-plantation until the trees become self-sustainable.
To understand your carbon footprint – the amount of pollution you personally cause – you need to take a step back and look at the things you do that don’t involve your own muscle power. The things that are powered by fuel so you don’t have to lift more than a finger.
