Parenting A Pet
Rashmi Rathi has been working for animals for a long time now and also rescuing, and feeding animals
Let's meet my baby. Her name is Oscar. She is truly a blessing in my life. Whenever I feel low, she gives me hope with her jolly and cute behaviour. So, I wake up with more power and feel better.
I planned to adopt a dog. One of my college mates posted a status on WhatsApp about her dog giving birth to four puppies. I messaged her. She replied with the location "AGRA - ORAI". I asked her to keep one for me. I reached Agra on January 13th, 2018. She was born on January 11th, 2018. She attracted me with her cute behaviour. Quickly, we both created a strong bond. Her mom was a Pomeranian, but she's a mixed breed. So, my college mate apologized, saying: "Di, if you don't want her, it is okay." I replied: "I love animals, not breeds. I'll adopt her."
As the eldest daughter and sister, I have faced many challenges in my life. There were times when I wanted to give up, but Oscar's bond saved me and kept me motivated to keep going. I know I can do better and better with my beautiful pet by my side.
